Roosters Announce Triple Signing. Courtney, Jamie and Oliver join!

Penrhyncoch FC are delighted to announce the loan signings of Courtney Perkins from Newtown and Jamie Jones from Aberystwyth Town, and the permanent signing of Oliver Farebrother from North West Counties League side Ashton Town.

19-year-old striker Courtney has racked up 11 appearances for Newtown’s development team, scoring six times and assisting five times since joining in the Robins from The New Saints in the summer. The young striker joins in order to bring some more fire power to the Roosters’ attack.

Jamie joins after already making four cameo appearances for the Seasiders this season. He remains a key player for Aber’s development side having racked up over 30 appearances for the under-19s. The young defender also has a nack for scoring goals, having netted six in 11 for the young Seasiders this season.

Goalkeeper Oliver returns the club following spells with English sides Padiham, Clitheroe and Ashton Town. After spending time with The New Saints at youth level, Oliver joined Aberystwyth in 2017 where he linked up with the club’s under-19s side.

He spent a year with Aber before joining the Roosters in the summer of 2018, spending half a season with the Roosters before moving to Aberaeron. He also had a spell with Bow Street prior to his move over the border.
