Penrhyncoch FC are delighted to announce the return of defender Harri Horwood, who returns to the club after spending last season at Aberystwyth Town.
Harri returns to the club for his second spell after appearing 19 times for the Seasiders last season, with 17 of those appearances being in the Cymru Premier.
The lightning-fast full-back, who can also be deployed on the wing, previously spent the 2021/22 season at Cae Baker, where he turned out 31 times for Aneurin Thomas’ side scoring twice as they went on to finish a very respectable ninth place in the Cymru North that season.
Harri started his career with Aberystwyth before moving to the capital for university, where he signed for Cardiff Met. Whilst down south, he also turned out for Briton Ferry Llansawel, appearing 10 times at Old Road helping the club to a third place finish in the Cymru South.
”Honestly, I can’t wait to get back into training with the boys!” Harri told the club’s media. ”After gaining great experience with Aberystwyth Town last season, I feel that I can use that to have a positive influence on the squad.
It was very difficult on and off the pitch for the club last season, hopefully we can put it right this year and make Bones proud!”
