MATCH PREVIEW: Holywell Town vs Penrhyncoch FC

This weekend the Roosters travel to Flintshire to take on Holywell Town as Gari Lewis’ side look for their second win of the season.

Penrhyn now find themselves 15th in the JD Cymru North and like recent games, tomorrow’s against the Wellmen will not be an easy task in the slightest. The Roosters fell to a 2-0 defeat at home at the hands of Llandudno last weekend thanks to goals from Marc Williams and Morgan Owen.

Holywell on the other hand are flying, they currently find themselves sat 3rd in the Cymru North only three points behind league leaders Colwyn Bay, albeit the Wellmen have played an extra game. Their latest result was a positive one as they knocked Mold Alexandra out of the North East Wales Cup in a 3-0 win.

Last time the two sides played each other, the Wellmen left Cae Baker with all three points as a brace from Daniel Sullivan, a goal from Dylan Allshorn and a Roosters consolation goal scored by Jonathan Foligno secured a 3-1 win for the visitors.

Kick-off is at 14:30 and for any supporters making the journey up north, the address is Halkyn Road, Holywell, CH8 7TZ. See you there!

This weekend the Roosters begin their inaugral WBS Tier Two League Cup campaign with an away trip to Mold Alexandra.

Apart from the Roosters, Mold have also beaten Llanidloes Town and Gresford Athletic but have suffered two 4-0 defeats to Guilsfield on the opening day, and Colwyn Bay in their most recent match.
