Penrhyncoch FC Retained List 2023/24

Penrhyncoch FC can now release our retained list ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Sion James, Jonathan Foligno and Josh Shaw will remain registered to the club, but will primarily feature for the reserves in the upcoming season. All three have made significant contributions to the club over the course of their careers and no doubt go into the books as club legends. We would like to sincerely thank Sion, Jon and Josh for everything they have done in a Roosters shirt, and we wish them all the best for the future!

As previously announced, goalkeeper Lewis James has left the club to join league rivals Bow Street. Lewis made 21 appearances for the club since signing from Penparcau last summer. Fellow goalkeeper Oliver Farebrother will also be leaving the club. After joining the club in January from Ashton Town, he went on to make 15 appearances.

Powerful midfielder Liam Lewis will also leave the club this summer. Liam made 20 appearances for the club last season, scoring 4 goals.

Defender Matthew Pemberthy has also decided to end his time with the Roosters. Pembs joined the club from Bow Street in 2019 and made 65 appearances for the club.

Finally, loanee Jamie Jones will leave following his spell at the Roosters. Jamie joined the club on loan from Aberystwyth Town in January and went on to make 18 appearances for the club.

The club remains in talks with Elian Evans and Tomos Evans and an update will be released in due course.

As announed, Daniel Owen and Courtney Perkins who both joined the club on loan in January have permanently for the club and will be part of the 2023/24 squad.

Departing:

Moved to Reserves:
